Welcome!. All of the historical and genealogical data shared here has been collected for personal, non-commercial use. I began researching my family many years ago. I owe a debt of gratitude to all of the kind, interesting, and amazing people that I have met with and/or corresponded with, while on the journey of compiling this information. I will try to pass along that kindness whenever I can. These pages are a labor of love, in tribute to my ancestors, and for the preservation of history for future generations.
I hope you enjoy. For now, please use the menu above to navigate the static pages. I will be adding all the information I have, and I will be trying to keep things up to date. If you see any errors, or have additional information to share, please feel free to contact me!
Please read and follow my blog, mostly so that I don’t feel like I am talking to myself. Every now and then, I am bound to post something of interest.
Barring some great idea for a Blog name, it is currently called – Random Thoughts

Dedication – Esther Holland Pitts
My interest in my family history, genealogy, and doing research began with a gift from my mother, a manuscript titled “Holland and Adair Families Genealogy”, written by Mrs. Esther Holland Pitts, Clinton, SC 1967. I am eternally grateful to Mrs. Pitts for the fine foundation she laid for future researchers. She was the spark that kindled the flame, all of my research and everything I have learned and experienced can be traced back to her booklet.
Mrs. Pitts passed away on December 14, 2006. She was 100 years old.
This site is dedicated in her memory
