I am beyond excited, and grateful to be kicking off a project – one that actually started decades ago.
There are two cemetery sites that have been near and dear to my heart, ever since first learning about them from afar, in the late 70s. I had the opportunity to visit both places in person since moving to South Carolina, and I so wanted to see them documented, protected, and, in my dreams, restored.
Well…it’s happening!
I am working with Sacred Site Research and Restoration, an established non-profit organization. We are going to start with the Holland Cemetery. Please support our efforts here, and pass along the word to anyone inclined to help!
