I had the pleasure of attending a Revolutionary War reenactment of Huck’s Defeat, aka the Battle of Williamson’s Plantation, at Historic Brattonsville, in McConnells, SC on July 16, 2022. It was a great road trip through beautiful country. It was hot, humid, and there was a crazy loud (but refreshing) thunderstorm to close out the day.
